On our way back from the Croatia boat trip we stopped off in Amsterdam to visit friends. They are world-class musicians and took us to the Bimhaus – one of the top jazz clubs in the world. That night was all Latin music. The gig opened with an amazing trio playing various styles to Latin music. Following the trio was a world famous Brazilian singer who turned the event into a Latin Rave. I eventually was able to get close to the percussion section players and that’s where I wanted to me.
