Venice has been on my list forever.Janine had been to Venice many times and seeing her photos made me jealous. Many places you first see from photos creates expectations that are often not fulfilled. But, Venice met all of my expectations and was everything I wanted it to be. The canals, gondolas, boats, bridges, and interesting shops made for a travel bonanza.
The first thing I did after checking into to our hotel was to take Janine for a private lovers gondola ride through the canals. It is a time-lapse so the sound is off.
To get to where we pick up the big sailing ship we were picked up at our hotel by a speedboat and driven through many back canals eventually ending dow the Grand Canal of Venice. The video is also lime-lapse so the sound is off.
