1853-Amsterdam, NL

Just like in Venice, one of the first things I wanted to do in Amsterdam was take a canal tour. Fortunately the for us we were the only customers in our boat. We got a private tour of the entire Amsterdam canal system. The video is time-lapse so there isn’t any audio at this time. We passed through all of the important river connections with the canal system and and visited the famous crooked houses on the shore. The footings enthuse houses sunk hundreds of years ago and the houses leaned on each other to stay up. There is also a house with a stork above the house. This was the house of the mid-wife who delivered the babies in the area.
