Chief Joseph Scenic Highway is the downhill slide from Beartooth Pass, Montana into Cody, Wyoming. This fifty mile highway begins at around the 10,000 foot level and winds down to the high desert in the Wyoming plains. Every few miles the scenery changes from rocky crags, to river, to forest, to plateau, to steep peaks, to rushing water. With blue skies and puffy clouds, this ride was the reward for the prior challenging Beartooth Pass.
