Serbia is one of the most depressing countries I have visited. The streets of Belgrade were filthy, every building was tagged, no one smiling, drab dirty streets. Check out the photos and don’t let them get you depressed.
This is where Serbia is:

We wanted to check out the country of Serbia. Since we were in nearby Albania, we did a short flight to Belgrade. We thought we were flying Lufthansa, but when we walked to our plane on the tarmac it was an unmarked white generic craft. Okay, now what the Hell is going on? We found flight attendants dressed in generic uniforms with no airline affiliation pro insignia. Where is this disconcerting commie plane going to take us? A large placard in the seat back explained this is something called a “wet lease.” This is where Lufthansa leases an entire unmarked plane from Baltic Air to secretly fly us to Serbia. This “wet lease” included plane rental, maintenance, fuel, landing authorizations and full crew. All in an unmarked plane, uniforms and announcements. Yikes!!!
