We visited three of the Canary Islands and ended up staying a couple of days on the largest of the islands Grand Canaria. I didn’t realize that this set of islands off the coast of Africa (and belonging to Spain) had a population of over 2.2 million. If we get another chance we would visit Grand Canaria again. The people were lovely and the food delicious.
