1820-Rome, IT

Finally arrived Rome to my “is this all there is?” attitude. All of the major attractions were under construction or were not working – like fountains etc. Traffic was horrendous and I have never been with so many people. Alright, I’m being a wad right now, but after a while how much old crap can you see? Of course Janine and I had a great time. She knows how to find great food in any town. We found the greatest pizza along with the best tiramisu in the world. Our best meal was at this little Taverna in a quaint local area of Rome. She had a plate of truffles with a few noodles. Check out the photos.

Ships in Rome Harbor
This is a view landing into Rome airport of the harbor with both the Star Clipper and Star Flyer waiting to depart for a week at sail. This was taken by one of the other members from Janine’s group.
