Every so often I send out an email of what Janine and I have been up to. If you are on the blog email list you may have already received the email. It not, here it is.

Janine and I spent the Xmas break working our way to Fiji. We spent the night in San Diego at our favorite hotel (US Grant), ate at our favorite tequileria and mole restaurant (El Agave) and flew to Hawaii for Xmas Eve, and then on to Fiji for a couple of weeks. We sailed for a week through the Yasawa Islands Northwest of Fiji. We swam with sharks, snorkeled, visited the island where the movie “Castaway” was filmed, drank Kava with the boat crew, went cave diving, and of course drank champagne. We met a lot of wonderful people and made some new international friends and I was given a new nickname, Ratu, which means Chief.
We are still in Dana Point and will be exploring the Caribbean this Spring break. If you are interested in sailing on a Tall ship in the Leeward Islands with us and a group of our friends, there’s a couple cabins available March 18-25. Contact Janine at: janinearth@gmail.com
