Lyon was the end point for the boat cruise. We spent an extra on the boat so we could go on a walking tour to the old part of town. Old Lyon is beautiful, bustling, and was everything you would want to see in an historical French city. Across the river from Old Town, Lyon felt like every other commercial business hub in France, traffic, street cars, busses, and congestion.
We planned on staying a couple extra days in Lyon to explore this wonderful city. But read the next post.
