I shot across Oregon to the coast to visit my brother in a small town outside Astoria, OR. Astoria is a quaint historical sea town on the Columbia River. Huge cargo ships from around the world enter the Columbia River here and travel inland hundreds of miles. The city is in the throws of updating itself to become a better destination for travelers. More paint, renovation, paving have resulted in an upgraded fun stop on a trip. It was great seeing my brother in his on locale, meeting his friends and exploring Astoria.
