This trip to Death Valley with my good friends Jimmy & Diana Langford began as we pulled off CA Route 395 towards Trona. We dropped down into the China Lake Navel Air training valley hoping to see fighter jets scorching the valley floor at mach .9 practicing low level bombing runs. We climbed up into the mountains and finally dropped down into Death Valley. These are photos shot from the car as we traveled over 400 miles within the north end of the park. Our previous trip took us to the south end to Badwater and eventually to Baker and Interstate 15.
