I’ve driven to a lot of places in this country, but never to the real “end of the road.” Barrow, being the farthest city in North America has a road out of town that heads north. I drove to the end and there I was – as far as you can go. I was hoping to see a polar bear hiding behind one of the snow mounds – but they will be there in three more weeks.
