The Experience Music Project is one of the best Rock and Roll museums in the country. I have been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and it sucks. You can see more rock and roll history at a Hardrock Cafe then you can at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I thoroughly enjoyed the museum. The guitar collection is amazing along with the Jimi Hendrix memorabilia. Here are a few photos some I snagged from the web (they wouldn’t let you take your own).
Tornado of instruments.

Fender Stratocaster fragment: smashed and burned by Jimi Hendrix at the Monterey International Pop Festival, 1967
