Alright, I did the super tourist thing and went to the Mardi Gras museum. Most locals have never been there, but since I was a tourist this trip, I wanted to see it all. The museum is at the St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter and contains interesting memorabilia from New Orleans’ past. These photos are of some of the displays that tell the history of Mardi Gras.
