This last month Hawaii was hit with a major Kona Low weather event. This was the worst flooding and to hit the islands in more than twenty years. Kauai, Maui, and Oahu were hit the hardest with over $1 billion in damages. The Big Island got the tail of the weather and this is some of the heaviest vertical rain we have ever experienced.
In Hilo if you are a truck driver and pass away, your fellow drivers honor you with a funeral procession most will never see.
