1864-Barcelona, SP

Barcelona is a city on the northeastern coast of Spain. It is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Catalonia, as well as the second-most populous municipality of Spain outside of Madrid.

Janine had been to Barcelona several times and wanted to show me this wonderful city and especially the Sagrada Familia that has been in construction for almost 150 years. It is hoped it will be completed next year but after visiting it, that won’t be happening.

We walked and toured all over the city sometimes ending up in “interesting” areas of the city late at night but never felt unsafe at anytime. Enjoy some of the sites we visited.

The Kissing Wall is a favorite stop for tourist. It was designed from 8,000 separate photos people sent in for the project that were then computerized and installed into a large wall presentation. You can only see the completed photo by standing a distance away.
