I have not been to Slovenia before but it turned out to be one of the places to which I wish to return. The scenery is spectacular, the cities are clean and well-designed, and the people are lovely. We did a land tour of Slovenia visiting several cities, castles, and beaches.
This was a picturesque lake with an chapel on an island. To get to the island you have to take a small boat powered by an oarsman. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the lake. Overlooking the lake is a beautiful strategic castle.
