1795-New Zealand, NZ

Our next stop was Auckland, New Zealand. We picked up a vehicle and drove up the island (on the left side of the road – YIKES) over narrow mountain roads with a truck on your tail doing 100 klicks. The north island of New Zealand is where most of the population lives. The northern part of the island is primarily agricultural. It rains a little every day during the summer, and thus everything is green green green.

We stayed with great friends on their farm and had a wonderful time.

Driving on the left was challenging.
Enjoying the porch during the afternoon rain storm.
