We drove from Anchorage to Homer and then a one hour ferry ride to Seldovia. I don’t have sea-legs so I was fully medicated. Got there unharmed.
The video is the journey from Homer to Seldovia across the Kachemak Bay. If you watch the video go to 4:35 and check out this sea gull. The ferry is going about 24 miles per hour and the trip is about 20 miles. This sea gull flew the entire crossing with us and eventually beat the boat. I didn’t know sea gulls could fly that fast over long distances.
