The Anchorage Museum of History and Art houses a wonderful collection of native Alaskan history and art. Every so often they feature another Alaskan area, style, or cultural theme. My last visit I found these wooden mask most interesting. Most of these masks are large with some five or six feet in size. The colors are striking along with the gnarly faces.
