The return trip back to California from Florida took an interesting turn. We have flown into LAX many times over the years and the usual track from the East coast is to fly over the Mohave Desert and Palm Springs directly into LAX. This time our flight took a different track and flew over San Diego, up the coast, over our house in Dana Point and then turn into the normal LAX pattern. The weather was perfect and I was on the right side of the plane for a great photo.
