1733-Too Much Weed – AK

Alaska was one of the first states fo legalize medical marijuana in 1998, but its rules didn’t allow for dispensaries. You could have it but you couldn’t purchase it in the state. In 2014 voters legalized recreational marijuana but no medical system was developed – huh? Alaska also put no cap on the number of dispensaries. So, there is a weed shop on almost every corner in Anchorage making Alaska’s cannabis industry the most retail shops per capita in the country. With this many players the weed industry is ery competitive with “apparently” high quality at a very good price. I wouldn’t know myself but hear from my Alaskan friends who are baked most of the time. It’s frightening to drive around Anchorage knowing that most of the people in the other cars are stoned. YIKES!!!

Colorado is also a stoned state. On my motorcycle ride last summer I noticed a liquor store, gun shop, weed dispensary on almost every block.
