There is very little graffiti in San Jose and the surrounding countryside. The government has made it a stiff crime to tag public buildings. The city has also anointed a local tattoo artist named Negus as the official graffiti artist. His art is on every wall and adds a wonderful ethnic flavor to San Jose.
