We rented this villa for a few days near the beach and expected a tranquil setting. What we got was a filthy bug infested brown water out of the tap scary nightmare. The owner was right out of the movie “Boys from Brazil.” He frightened us from the very moment we met him. Janine and I both knew he had a secret lab in the basement cloning the future Fourth Reich. We made up a story of a death in the family so we could get out of the multi-day rental. We drove up the coast and ended up at a very expensive all-inclusive resort that turned out to be wonderful.
