Smithsonian Air & Space Museum at the Dulles Airport outside Washington, DC houses the Discovery Space Shuttle, one of the original five. Discovery flew for 27 years with 39 launches giving it more time than any other spacecraft. Discovery carried the Hubble telescope into space and was the first shuttle to be retired.
