Teotihuacan was a pre-Columbian Mesoamerican city located 30 miles from Mexico City. It was established around 100 BC and continued until the 7th or 8th century AD. It was the largest city in preColumbian Americas with a popluation of 125,000 or more making it one of the largest cities in the world at that time.
Janine and I climbed both the temple of the Sun and Moon. Along the main avenue we could see the remains of housing structures and living quarters. A couple of years ago we visited Chichén Itzá in the Yucatan as well as numerous other temple sites. So we’ve pretty much seen the majority of Mexican cultures. Its worth seeing. Go someday.
